The present invention relates to a bead wire used for reinforcing a tire of a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, through a step of forming fine irregularities on a wire surface by electrolysis and acid treatment in which a wire manufactured by drawing passes through an electrolyzer containing an acid solution and a step of a chemical substitution plating process in which a plating bath containing one of cobalt, nickel, and manganese or a compound of two of the components passes through a copper-tin plating solution, the bead wire having superior adhesive strength are manufactured, which comprises 97-99.99 wt% of copper-tin (Cu-Sn) consisting 75-99.99 wt% of Cu and 0.01-25 wt% of Sn and 0.01-3.0 wt% of one or two components of cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), and manganese (Mn), in which a coated layer with 0.01-1.50m of surface roughness is formed.

    본 발명은 자동차의 타이어 보강용으로 사용되는 비드와이어 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 신선 가공된 와이어를 산성용액이 수용된 전해조를 통과시키는 전해 산처리에 의해 와이어의 표면에 미세한 요철이 형성되도록 하는 공정과 구리-주석 도금액에 코발트, 니켈, 망간이 단독으로 또는 두 성분의 화합물이 함유된 도금조를 통과시키는 화학치환도금 공정을 통해서 구리 75 ∼ 99.99%와 주석 0.01 ∼ 25%의 중량비로 이루어진 구리-주석 (Cu-Sn) 97 ∼ 99.99wt%와 코발트(Co), 니켈 (Ni), 망간(Mn) 중 하나 또는 두 성분 0.01 ∼ 3.0wt%로 조성되고,표면 거칠기가 0.01 ∼ 1.50㎛인 도금층이 형성된 접착성이 우수한 비드와이어가 제조된다.
