The present invention relates to a kick down switch for an accelerator pedal, which improves the awareness with respect to rapid acceleration by providing the sense of kick down operation generated when an accelerator pedal is operated while driving to a driver, and improves fuel efficiency by inducing eco-driving therethrough. The kick down switch for an accelerator pedal comprises: a switch housing; a switch button which is installed inside the switch housing to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the switch housing; a rotary body which is installed inside the switch housing to be rotated through a shaft; a tension plate which is coupled to the switch button; and an elastic member of which both ends are fixed to the switch housing and the rotary body.

    본 발명은 가속페달용 킥 다운 스위치에 관한 것으로, 차량 주행 중 가속페달 조작시에 발생하는 킥 다운 조작감을 운전자에게 제공해서 급가속에 대한 인지성을 높이고, 이를 통해 에코드라이빙을 유도해서 연비향상을 도모할 수 있도록 된 것이다.
