The present invention relates to a method for encrypting a vital control system by applying a multicast communications method wherein an encryption management server which manages an encryption key, which is encryption information of the vital control system of a train, and general devices which generate the encryption key if receiving encryption key generation information from the encryption management server, are connected to each other in the multicast communications method and encrypt transmitted information of the train. The method for encrypting a vital control system includes: a first step of the general devices for receiving the encryption key generation information from the encryption management server; a second step of the general devices for individually transmitting an ACK signal for notifying that the encryption key generation information has been normally received to the encryption management server; a third step for transmitting encryption information, obtained by encrypting train information with an encryption key set by receiving a certain general device among the general devices, to another general device; and a fourth step of another general device, selected in the third step, for receiving the encryption information, decrypting the encryption information by a set encryption key, and restoring the train information. According to the present invention, a structure of the vital control system is formed to be simple and operation efficiency of a communications network can be increased by obtaining security of the train information such as confidentiality, integrity, non-approval, and access blocking which is transmitted by applying the multicast communications method to the vital control system of the train.

    본 발명은 멀티캐스트 통신방식을 적용한 바이탈 제어 시스템의 암호화 방법에 관한 것으로, 철도 차량의 바이탈 제어 시스템의 암호화정보인 암호키를 관리하는 암호관리서버와, 암호관리서버로부터 암호키 생성정보가 수신되면 암호키를 생성하는 일반 장치들이 멀티캐스트 통신방식으로 접속되어 전송되는 철도차량 정보를 암호화하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 일반 장치들은 상기 암호관리서버로부터 상기 암호키 생성정보를 전송받는 제1 단계; 상기 일반 장치들은 암호키 생성정보가 정상적으로 수신되었음을 알리는 ACK신호를 개별적으로 상기 암호관리서버에 전송하는 제2단계; 상기 일반 장치들 중에 특정의 일반 장치에서 설정된 암호키에 의해서 철도차량 정보를 암호화한 암호화정보를 선택된 다른 일반 장치로 전송하는 제3단계; 상기 선택된 다른 일반 장치에서 상기 암호화정보를 수신하여 설정된 암호키에 의해서 복호화하여 철도차량 정보를 복구하는 제4단계;로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 철도차량의 바이탈 제어 시스템에 멀티캐스트 통신방식을 적용하여 전송되는 철도차량 정보의 기밀, 무결성, 미승인 접속차단 등과 같은 보안을 확보하여 바이탈 제어 시스템을 간단하게 구성하고 통신망의 운용 효율성을 높일 수 있다.
