The present invention relates to a method for analyzing living organisms in ballast water which can distinguish the presence or absence of living organisms survived in ballast water discharged from a device for treating ballast water. More specifically, according to the present invention, disclosed is a method for analyzing living organisms in ballast water comprising: a first step which collects a fully developed flow-induced representative sample from a collection device for analyzing living organisms in ballast water; and a second step which analyzes the collected representative sample using a fluorescence analysis, wherein the method analyzes the presence or absence and an amount of living organisms in ballast water.
