The present invention relates to a power transmission apparatus for a coaxial helicopter, in which a lift force is generated by a lower rotor and an upper rotor rotating in the opposite direction at a height different from that of the lower rotor. The power transmission apparatus for a coaxial helicopter comprises: a main shaft which is connected to a power generation unit for generating a rotation driving force, and in which a first driving gear and a second driving gear are coupled to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction; a lower connection gear unit which is connected to the first driving gear to be interlocked with the first driving gear, and enables the lower rotor to be rotated by transmitting a rotational force of the first driving gear to the lower rotor; an interlocking gear which is connected to the second driving gear to be interlocked with the second driving gear, and rotates in the direction opposite to the lower connection gear unit; and an upper connection gear unit which is connected to the interlocking gear to be interlocked with the interlocking gear, enables the upper rotor to be rotated by transmitting a rotational force of the interlocking gear to the upper rotor, and adjusts the relative rotation speed of the upper rotor and the lower rotor while controlling the rotation speed of the upper rotor.
