According to the present invention, a connector converter comprises: a connection control unit which controls the connection between a vehicle and a charger; a communication protocol converting unit which performs a message conversion between the vehicle and the charger having different communication protocol types, when the vehicle is connected to the charger in a rechargeable state by the connection control unit; and a communication unit which transmits the message, which is outputted from the communication protocol converting unit, to the vehicle or the charger. Accordingly, the data communication and charging between the vehicle and the charger with different communication specifications are possible.

    본 발명에 따른 커넥터 변환기는 차량과 충전기 간의 연결을 제어하는 커넥션 제어부, 상기 커넥션 제어부에 의해 상기 차량이 상기 충전기에 충전 가능한 상태로 연결된 경우, 이종의 통신 프로토콜 타입을 가진 상기 차량과 상기 충전기 간의 메시지 변환을 수행하는 통신 프로토콜 변환부 및 상기 통신 프로토콜 변환부로부터 출력된 메시지를 상기 차량 또는 상기 충전기로 송신하는 통신부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이로써, 상이한 통신 사양의 차량과 충전기 간의 데이터 통신 및 충전이 가능하다.
