To rotate a ball portion of a ball stud rotatably contained in a housing with a necessary torque, by enabling stable rotating.SOLUTION: A ball joint J1 is equipped with a ball stud 10 made by integrally joining a metallic ball portion 10b to one portion of the stud portion 10s coupled to a suspension or a stabilizer at the other end portion, and a resinous housing 21 that has an inner spherical surface 21a containing the ball portion 10b of the ball stud 10 and has a space opening (opening portion 21c) so as to project out the stud portion 10s joined with the ball portion 10b. The housing 21 is equipped with a spherical curbed shape body portion 21b containing the ball portion 10b to the opening portion. The body portion 21b has an outer peripheral surface along the inner spherical surface. The housing is equipped with flange portions 21g and 21h that annularly revolve at both of an upper side position and a lower side position with respect to a horizontal line H virtually passing through a center of the ball portion 10b on the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 21b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
