The clutch actuator comprises a hydraulic pressure generating mechanism (51) for causing stroke of a piston (51b) within a cylinder (51a) so as to generate hydraulic pressure and providing the hydraulic pressure to a clutch (26) side to actuate the clutch (26) and bring the same into an engaged state or a disengaged state, and a motor (52) for generating a rotary drive force from a drive shaft (52a) to drive the hydraulic pressure generating mechanism (51). The motor (52) is disposed such that the axial direction of the drive shaft (52a) is parallel to the axial direction of the cylinder (51a) of the hydraulic pressure generating mechanism (51) and is unitized together with the hydraulic pressure generating mechanism (51). The axis (C1) of the cylinder (51a) and the axis (C2) of the drive shaft (52a) extend in the vehicle fore-aft direction.
