To increase a speed reduction ratio of a gear mechanism installed inside of a wheel, while miniaturizing a body size in an in-wheel motor having a plurality of motors.SOLUTION: In an in-wheel motor 1 including a plurality of motors 10, 20, 30, 40 for driving a wheel 2, and a gear mechanism 50 for transmitting power output from each of the motors 10, 20, 30, 40 to a driving shaft of the wheel 2, inside of the wheel 2, the gear mechanism 50 includes driving gears 51, 52, 53, 54 of external gears disposed on output shafts of the motors 10, 20, 30, 40, and a driven gear 55 of an internal gear engaged with the driving gears 51, 52, 53, 54. Each output shaft is disposed on an axis different from the driving shaft of the wheel 2, and the plurality of motors 10, 20, 30, 40 are arranged along a circumferential direction of the driven gear 55 at positions overlapped to each other in an axial direction of the wheel 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
