To more accurately and easily determine an opened/closed state of a switch present in a railway track from a captured image.SOLUTION: A railway track detection device in an embodiment comprises: a railway track detection unit that detects a railway track in a captured image captured by a capturing device that captures an area around a railway vehicle and outputs the railway track detection image, by using a railway track detection model, which is a trained model for inputting an image and outputting the railway track detection image as a detection result of a railway track composed of a pair of rails; a switch detection unit that, by applying image processing to the railway track detection image, detects a pair of triangular areas in the railway track detection image, each of which has a triangular shape between the rails, and, when the pair of triangular areas is detected, outputs a specific image in which each vertex of the pair of triangular areas is specified as a point of a switch for dividing the railway tracks into a plurality of railway tracks or for merging the plurality of railway tracks; and a switch state determination unit that determines an open/closed state of the switch from the specified image, by using a switch state determination model which is a trained model for inputting an image including the points of the switch and outputting the opened/closed state of the switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】撮像画像から、線路中に存在する分岐器の開閉状態をより正確かつ容易に判定すること。【解決手段】実施形態の線路検出装置は、画像を入力して一対のレールからなる線路の検出結果である線路検出画像を出力する学習済みモデルである線路検出モデルを用いて、鉄道車両の周辺の領域を撮像する撮像装置による撮像画像から前記線路を検出して前記線路検出画像を出力する線路検出部と、前記線路検出画像に画像処理を施すことで、前記線路検出画像から、前記レール間の形状が三角形となる一対の三角領域を検出し、前記一対の三角領域が検出された場合に、前記一対の三角領域のそれぞれの頂点を、前記線路を複数の線路に分岐させまたは前記複数の線路を合流させるための分岐器のポイントとして特定した特定画像を出力する分岐器検出部と、前記分岐器のポイントを含む画像を入力して前記分岐器の開閉状態を出力する学習済みモデルである分岐器状態判定モデルを用いて、前記特定画像から、前記分岐器の開閉状態を判定する分岐器状態判定部と、を備える。【選択図】図2
