To provide a saddle riding electric vehicle characterized in that: a storage battery for vehicle drive is interposed between left and right upper frames; and it is easy to insert or remove the storage battery into or from between the left and right upper frames without shrinking the storage battery.SOLUTION: An electric two-wheeled vehicle 1 includes a head pipe 16, a pair of left and right main frames 17, and a battery unit 100 interposed between the left and right main frames 17 behind the head pipe 16. Each of the main frames 17 includes an extension part 17a that extends along a vehicular fore-and-aft direction in a plan view, and a front curved part 17b which extends to curve inwardly in a vehicle width direction in a plan view toward ahead of the extension part 17a and whose front end 17c is connected to the head pipe 16.
