To provide a vehicular steering device capable of determining whether a vehicle is in a running-straight state or not by a novel scheme.SOLUTION: A vehicular steering device includes: a relative steering angle detecting unit that detects a relative steering angle in accordance with the steering direction of a steering member and with a steered amount thereof; a lateral acceleration obtaining unit that obtains a lateral acceleration detection value of a vehicle; a lateral acceleration correcting unit that calculates a corrected lateral acceleration by eliminating, from the lateral acceleration detection value, a component that gives an adverse effect to the lateral acceleration detection value due to the inclination of a vehicle body relative to a horizontal plane; a running-straight state determining unit that determines, using at least the corrected lateral acceleration, whether or not the vehicle is in a running-straight state; and a steering angle midpoint updating unit that updates a steering angle midpoint based on the relative steering angle when a predetermined condition which includes at least a condition in which the vehicle is in the running-straight state is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】車両直進状態であるか否かを新規な方法で判定できる、車両用操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用操舵装置は、操舵部材の操舵方向および操舵量に応じた相対舵角を検出する相対舵角検出部と、車両の横加速度検出値を取得する横加速度取得部と、水平面に対する車体の傾きに起因して前記横加速度検出値に影響を与えている成分を、前記横加速度検出値から除去することにより、補正後横加速度を演算する横加速度補正部と、少なくとも前記補正後横加速度を用いて前記車両が直進走行状態であるか否かを判定する直進走行状態判定部と、前記車両が直進走行状態であるという条件を少なくとも含む所定の条件を満たしたときの前記相対舵角に基づいて、舵角中点を更新する舵角中点更新部とを含む。【選択図】図6
