To provide a vehicle back door opening reinforcement structure designed in consideration of rigidity improvement of a trough to which a stay is connected and water immersion.SOLUTION: A trough 106 includes: an outer wall part 106a bent toward a vehicle front side from a rear end 138 of an outer panel 134 of a rear pillar 104; a front wall part 106b bent from a front end of the outer wall part 106a toward an inner side in a vehicle width direction; and an inner wall part 106c bent from an end portion on the inner side in the vehicle width direction of the front wall part 106b toward a vehicle rear side to be connected to a rear end 140 of an inner panel 136 of the rear pillar 104. A reinforcement structure 100 includes: a stay connecting part 112 disposed on the outer wall part 106a of the trough 106 and to which a stay 110 is connected; and a reinforcement member 116 connected at an inner side of the rear pillar 104 to a region of the trough 106 including the stay connecting part 112. The reinforcement member 116 is connected along the outer wall part 106a, the front wall part 106b, and the inner wall part 106c of the trough 106.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
