To provide a switching load force measurement device and stitching load force measurement method, which enable estimation of an adhesion force between a tongue rail and a stock rail and a load applied to the tongue rail being switched with the maximum possible accuracy.SOLUTION: A switching load force measurement device 5 is provided, comprising a pair of support parts 7 attached to a sloped portion 3 of a switch adjuster 1, a base part 15 attached to the support parts 7 to cover an interval between the support parts 7, and a detection unit 4 attached to the base part 15, where the base part 15 has a shape of a rectangular thin plate with a pre-bent central portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
