To provide a vehicle controller capable of activating and cancelling an inertia travel mode by a driver's will.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller 1 can switch to an inertia travel mode that does not transmit to a drive shaft 7 power generated by an engine 2. The vehicle controller 1 is provided with a deceleration part having a plurality of reduction stages which can change deceleration of a vehicle; and an operation part 10 which is provided for a steering part 11 and can select the inertia travel mode according to a driver's operation.
