To more surely detect an unsafe action of a maintenance worker and reduce an erroneous report and a report failure.SOLUTION: A safety confirmation system includes: a first transmitter 501 provided in an external opening key 401 for opening a landing door; a second transmitter 502 provided on a hook 402 of a fall prevention device; a reception unit worn by a maintenance worker, configured to receive radio waves transmitted by the first transmitter 501 and the second transmitter 502; and a control unit configured to measure a reception signal intensity of the received radio waves. The control unit rings an alarm for urging hooking of the fall prevention device, while the reception signal intensity of the radio waves from the second transmitter 502 is not reduced to a predetermined ratio with respect to an initial value after it is detected that the reception signal intensity from the first transmitter 501 is reduced to the predetermined ratio with respect to the initial value measured at a start of a maintenance work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
