To provide a fall detection device, a fall detection system, a fall detection method and a fall detection program capable of avoiding erroneous detection due to intrusion of a small animal or the like while surely detecting a fallen person who falls into an orbit.SOLUTION: A fall detection device 4 includes a scan data acquisition part 14, a fall detection area setting part 13, a detection size setting part 17, and a fall detection part 15. The scan data acquisition part 14 acquires detection results respectively from a lower scanner 32 and an upper scanner 31. The detection size setting part 17 sets lower limit values of detection sizes of different sizes about upper and lower fall detection areas scanned by the upper and lower scanners 31, 32. The fall detection part 15 determines the presence/absence of a fallen person by using respective detection results in the two upper and lower fall detection areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】軌道上に転落した転落者を確実に検知しつつ、小動物等の侵入による誤検知を回避することが可能な転落検知装置、転落検知システム、転落検知方法および転落検知プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】転落検知装置4は、走査データ取得部14、転落検知エリア設定部13、検知サイズ設定部17、転落検知部15を備えている。走査データ取得部14は、下走査器32と、上走査器31とからそれぞれ検知結果を取得する。検知サイズ設定部17は、上・下走査器31,32によって走査される上下の転落検知エリアについて、異なる大きさの検知サイズの下限値を設定する。転落検知部15は、上下2つの転落検知エリアにおけるそれぞれの検知結果を用いて、転落者の有無を判定する。【選択図】図2
