To provide a metal hollow hole columnar body that has light weight and compact shape and can be easily transported and assembled.SOLUTION: A metal plate column 2 and a metal plate column 3 are fixed through a metal plate column 1 so as to face in their lengthwise direction. An end face in the lengthwise direction of the metal plate column 1 and facing surfaces of the metal plate column 2 and the metal plate column 3 are joined or fused and fixed. An outward surface of the metal plate column 2 and an outward surface of the metal plate column 3 are parallel on a cross section perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the metal plate column 2 and perpendicular to the outward surface facing the outside of the metal plate column 2. Width W1 of the metal plate column 1 is narrower than width W2 of the metal plate column 2 and width W3 of the metal plate column 3. The cross section is hollow hole. In a metal hollow column body, distance between the outward surface of the metal plate column 2 and an end of the hollow hole on the outward surface side of the metal plate column 2 is larger than thickness of the metal plate column 2, while distance between the outward surface of the metal plate column 3 and the end of the hollow hole on the outward surface side of the metal plate column 3 is larger than thickness of the metal plate column 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
