To provide an automotive component using resin mold capable of improving manufacturability thereof, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: An automotive component is an automotive component 1 constituting an exterior surface of a vehicle X and includes: an exterior part 11 exposed to the outside of the vehicle X; and an interior part 12 fitted onto the exterior part 11 and exposed to the inside of the vehicle X. The exterior part 11 is a resin molding body of substantially plate-like shape and the interior part 12 is a foam molding body with a reinforcement member E formed from metallic material therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
