To increase the safety of contactless power supply.SOLUTION: A power reception device 30 outputs a power transmission request signal to request transmission of power. A power transmission device 50 receives the power transmission request signal and carries out a power transmission to the power reception device by using coupling of a magnetic field and within a predetermined power transmission period of time. After an end of the power transmission period of time, the power transmission device changes a power transmission state from an amount of power transmission in the power transmission period of time to a smaller amount of power transmission. The power transmission state may be one in which the transmission of power may be cut off or one in which the amount of power to be transmitted may be reduced compared to in the power transmission period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】非接触給電における安全性を高める。【解決手段】受電装置30が、送電を求める送電要求信号を出力し、この送電要求信号を受け取った送電装置50は、受電装置に対する磁界結合を用いた送電を、予め定めた送電期間内に行なう。この送電期間の終了後、送電装置は、送電期間の送電量よりを少ない送電量の送電状態に切り換える。こうした送電状態は、送電を遮断した状態でも良く、送電期間中より送電量を低減して送電が行なわれる状態でもよい。【選択図】図2
