To provide a charging control method, a charging control device, and a power source circuit in which, when a power factor improve circuit is configured using a rotary electric machine and an inverter, iron loss generated in the rotary electric machine is reduced so that the efficiency of charging a battery with an external power source can be improved.SOLUTION: A power source circuit 100 has: a base leg 22 that constitutes an inverter when a rotary electric machine 12 is driven; and an additional leg 23 that is connected in parallel with the base leg 22 and constitutes a power factor improve circuit 30 together with the rotary electric machine 12 and the base leg 22. In the power source circuit 100, when a battery 11 is charged, a first switching frequency fa is a frequency at which switching elements S3, S4 included in the base leg 22 are switched and a second switching frequency fb which is a frequency at which switching elements S1, S2 included in the additional leg 23 are switched are separately controlled.     【課題】回転電機及びインバータを用いて力率改善回路を構成するときに、回転電機において生じる鉄損を低減し、外部電源によるバッテリの充電効率を向上した充電制御方法、充電制御装置、及び、電源回路を提供する。【解決手段】電源回路100は、回転電機12を駆動するときにインバータを構成する基本レグ22と、基本レグ22に並列に接続され、回転電機12及び基本レグ22とともに力率改善回路30を構成する追加レグ23と、を有する。この電源回路100では、バッテリ11を充電するときに、基本レグ22が有するスイッチング素子S3,S4をスイッチングする周波数である第1スイッチング周波数faと、追加レグ23が有するスイッチング素子S1,S2をスイッチングする周波数である第2スイッチング周波数fbと、をそれぞれ別個に制御する。そして、第2スイッチング周波数fbを第1スイッチング周波数faよりも小さくする。【選択図】図8
