To provide a floating body-type artificial tidal flat capable of suppressing posture instability due to increase or decrease in the amount of water in the aqueous phase of a floating body-type artificial tidal flat.SOLUTION: A floating body-type artificial tidal flat 10 floating in a water area 30 comprises a tank 12, a base 14 deposited in the tank 12 and with a slope shape surface 14a gradually rising from the side receiving the waves occurring in the water area 30 in the tank 12 toward the opposite side, an aqueous phase 16 stored in the tank 12 and where water volume increases/decreases, and a ballast loading part 20 to load ballast water 21. A ballast loading space 22 to accommodate the ballast water 21 of the ballast loading part 20 gradually decreases from the side receiving the waves to the opposite side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
