To provide a wireless communication system using a flying object that can stably relay wireless communication between a fixed base station and a terminal by a wireless relay station over a long period of time.SOLUTION: In an aspect of the present disclosure, a wireless communication system 1 includes a drone 11, a solar power generation unit 12 that generates power using sunlight, a wireless relay station 13 that relays wireless communication between a fixed base station and a terminal, and a wired cable 14 that connects the drone 11 and the wireless relay station 13. The wireless relay station 13 is carried and installed at a high location by the drone 11, and the power generated by the solar power generation unit 12 is supplied from the drone 11 to the wireless relay station 13 via the wired cable 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
