To provide an understructure of a vehicle making it possible to sustain or enhance an energy absorption quantity and attain a lightweight design.SOLUTION: A vehicle understructure 11 includes: two rocker panels 12 that separate from each other in a vehicle width direction and extend in a fore-and-aft direction; an energy absorption member 13 whose internal space is divided into plural sections, which are juxtaposed in the vehicle width direction, by plural ribs disposed inside the respective two rocker panels 12; and a tabular floor panel 14 interposed between the two rocker panels 12.
