To provide a small-sized and low-cost train detection device capable of reliably detecting a train even when receiving transient noise and coping with various ATS signals including non-variable frequency signals.SOLUTION: In a train detection device 1, an ATS signal transmitted from a train is received by a wayside coil 10, a frequency of the received signal is discriminated by a bandpass filter 32, and then converted into a DC voltage in a DC conversion circuit 34. A level of the DC voltage is monitored by a window comparator 35. When the DC voltage level is greater than a lower-limit threshold and smaller than an upper-limit threshold, the absence of a train is detected and a train detection relay 37 is lifted. On the other hand, when the DC voltage level is equal to or smaller than the lower-limit threshold or equal to or greater than the upper-limit threshold, the presence of a train (or device failure) is detected and the train detection relay 37 falls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】過渡的なノイズを受けても確実に列車を検知することができ、脱変周式を含む多様なATS信号に対応可能な小型かつ低コストの列車検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】列車検知装置1では、列車から送信されるATS信号が地上子10で受信され、当該受信信号がバンドパスフィルタ32で周波数弁別された後に、直流化回路34で直流電圧に変換され、該直流電圧のレベルがウィンドウコンパレータ35により監視される。直流電圧レベルが下限しきい値より大きく且つ上限しきい値より小さい場合に、列車無しが検知されて列車検知リレー37が扛上される。一方、直流電圧レベルが下限しきい値以下または上限しきい値以上の場合に、列車有り(または機器故障有り)が検知されて列車検知リレー37が落下される。【選択図】図1
