To provide a rotation mechanism that can keep a rotor stably rotatable, and to provide a wind direction adjusting device including the same.SOLUTION: A rotation mechanism 1 includes: a rotor 2 including a rotation shaft 5; and a soft resin holding member 3 including a holding hole 6 that receives the rotation shaft 5 so as to be rotatable. The holding member 3 imparts slide resistance to the rotation shaft 5 in the holding hole 6. The holding hole 6 has a thickness difference in an axial direction within a circumferential direction of the rotation shaft 5, where a terminal end of the thickness difference is positioned inward from an outside part of the holding member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
