To provide an occupant posture control method which reduces a sense of incongruity and discomfort of an occupant when transferring from straight travel to lateral/oblique movement in a front-rear wheel steering vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel control device 60 includes: a moving direction instruction section 61 which instructs a lateral/oblique movement direction; and a target tire angle calculation control section 62 which instructs each tire 91-94 to calculate a common target tire angle θ*. A posture controller 50 drives a seat back surface displacement actuator 30 or a seat rotation actuator 40 so as to generate pseudo yaw for directing the posture of an occupant in a steering direction of the tire in a period including at least an entering steering stage, of [1] the entering steering stage in which a tire angle of each tire is changed from 0 to the target tire angle and a vehicle is transferred from straight travel to lateral/oblique movement, [2] a holding stage in which the vehicle moves laterally/obliquely while holding the tire angle of each tire at the target tire angle, and [3] a return steering stage in which the tire angle of each tire is returned from the target tire angle to 0 and the vehicle is transferred from the lateral/oblique movement to straight travel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】前後輪転舵車両での直進から横/斜め移動への移行時に乗員の違和感や不快感を軽減する乗員姿勢制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両走行制御装置60は、横/斜め移動の方向を指示する移動方向指示部61、及び、各タイヤ91-94に共通の目標タイヤ角θ*を算出し指示する目標タイヤ角算出制御部62を含む。姿勢コントローラ50は、[1]各タイヤのタイヤ角を0から目標タイヤ角に変化させ、直進から横/斜め移動に移行する入り転舵段階、[2]各タイヤのタイヤ角を目標タイヤ角に保持しつつ横/斜め移動する保持段階、[3]各タイヤのタイヤ角を目標タイヤ角から0に戻し、横/斜め移動から直進に移行する戻し転舵段階、のうち、少なくとも入り転舵段階を含む期間において、乗員の姿勢をタイヤの転舵方向に向けさせる擬似的なヨーを生成するように、シートバック面変位アクチュエータ30又はシート回転アクチュエータ40を駆動する。【選択図】図1
