To provide a monitoring system of a heavy simple overhead line capable of constantly monitoring states of a trolley line and a catenary line.SOLUTION: An overhead line monitor system 100 is a system which monitors states of an overhead line 10 including optical fibers, of a heavy simple overhead line 1 and a trolley line 20 including optical fibers and comprises: the overhead line 10 including optical fibers, which internally accommodates an optical fiber detection line 122; the trolley line 20 including optical fibers, which internally accommodates an optical fiber detection line 22; and an optical fiber temperature distribution measuring device which is optically connected to the optical fiber detection line 122 and the optical fiber detection line 22 and measures temperature distribution in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber detection line 122 and the optical fiber detection line 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
