To improve brake relevance performance by making use of equipment which is peculiar to a fuel battery.SOLUTION: A brake auxiliary device 70 is employed to a fuel battery vehicle 1 which is mounted with a fuel battery system 2 having a high-pressure fuel tank 30, a fuel battery 20, and a fuel gas supply pipe 31 for connecting the high-pressure fuel tank 30 and the fuel battery 20, and assists a rise of the liquid pressure of a liquid pressure type brake device 50 which imparts a brake force to a wheel 15 by raising liquid pressure in a cylinder 52 having an input member 53 which moves when a brake operation force is input. The brake auxiliary device 70 comprises: a branch flow passage 71 branched from the fuel gas supply pipe 31; a pressure chamber 72 for raising the liquid pressure according to the flow-in of a fuel gas from the branch flow passage 71: a communication valve 73 for making the branch flow passage 71 and the pressure chamber 72 communicate with each other when the brake operation force is input, and blocking the communication of the branch flow passage 71 and the pressure chamber 72 when the brake operation force is released; and a pressure reduction valve 74 for reducing the pressure of the fuel gas flowing into the pressure chamber 72 from the branch flow passage 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】燃料電池に特有の設備を生かして制動関連性能を向上させる。【解決手段】制動補助装置70は、高圧燃料タンク30と、燃料電池20と、高圧燃料タンク30及び燃料電池20を接続する燃料ガス供給管31とを有する燃料電池システム2を搭載した燃料電池車両1に装備され、制動操作力が入力されると移動する入力部材53を備えたシリンダ52内の液圧を上昇させることにより車輪15に制動力を付与する液圧式制動装置50の液圧の上昇を補助する。制動補助装置70は、燃料ガス供給管31から分岐した分岐流路71と、分岐流路71からの燃料ガスの流入に応じて液圧を上昇させる圧力室72と、制動操作力が入力されると分岐流路71と圧力室72とを連通し、制動操作力が解除されると分岐流路71と圧力室72とを遮断する連動弁73と、分岐流路71から圧力室72に流入する燃料ガスの圧力を減圧する減圧弁74と、を備える。【選択図】図1
