To provide an accidental fire detection system which can synchronize an engine ECU and an MGECU.SOLUTION: An accidental fire detection system 100 comprises a first control device 3 which controls an engine 1 of a vehicle, and a second control device 4 which controls an electric motor 2 of the vehicle. The first control device 3 calculates a first accidental fire detection value of a cylinder of the engine 1. A second control device 4 calculates a second accidental fire detection value of the cylinder. The first control device 3 determines whether or not there is accidental fire by calculating a third accidental fire detection value with respect to the cylinder on the basis of the first accidental fire detection value and the second accidental fire detection value received previously or presently after prescribed timing from calculation timing of the first accidental fire detection value. The first control device 3 decreases/increases a value of a counter by the calculation timing of the third accidental fire detection value, decreases/increases a value of the counter by reception timing of the second accidental fire detection value, and determines whether to use either of the second accidental fire detection value received previously or presently for calculation of the third accidental fire detection value on the basis of the value of the counter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】エンジンECUとMGECUの同期ができる失火検出システムを提供することができる。【解決手段】本開示の失火検出システム100は、車両のエンジン1を制御する第1制御装置3と車両の電動機2を制御する第2制御装置4とを備える。第1制御装置3は、エンジン1の気筒の第1失火検出値を算出する。第2制御装置4は、気筒の第2失火検出値を算出する。第1制御装置3は、第1失火検出値の算出タイミングから所定のタイミング後で、第1失火検出値と前回又は今回受信した第2失火検出値とに基づいて、気筒に対する第3失火検出値を算出して失火の有無を判定する。第1制御装置3は、第3失火検出値の算出タイミングごとにカウンタの値を減少/増加させ、第2失火検出値の受信タイミングごとにカウンタの値を増加/減少させ、カウンタの値に基づいて前回又は今回受信した第2失火検出値のいずれかを第3失火検出値の算出に用いるかを決定する。【選択図】図1
