To obtain a vibration reduction device which can facilitate positioning between a weight and a spring and can absorb not only vibration in a seat width direction but also vibration in a seat fore and aft direction, and to obtain a vehicle seat.SOLUTION: A vibration reduction device includes: a weight 28 which is set so as to have a predetermined mass and formed with a spring engagement groove 48; and a spring 30 which supports the weight 28 while partially engaging with the spring engagement groove 48. The spring 30 is elastically deformed to allow displacement of the weight 28 in a first direction and a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B

    【課題】錘とスプリングとの位置決めを容易にできると共に、シート幅方向の振動だけでなく、シート前後方向の振動も吸収できる振動低減装置及び車両用シートを得る。【解決手段】振動低減装置は、定められた質量に設定されていると共にスプリング係合溝48が形成された錘28と、一部がスプリング係合溝48に係合した状態で錘28を支持するスプリング30と、を備えている。スプリング30が弾性変形することで、錘28の第1の方向及び第1の方向と直交する第2の方向への変位が許容される。【選択図】図4B
