To provide a maintenance management method capable of predicting future wear of a caster during long-distance runs based on test results of small mileage of the caster, and a maintenance management system.SOLUTION: The maintenance management method includes the steps of: carrying out a running test of a caster by changing the test conditions including the load, the type of caster, and the type of floor surface; measuring the wear amount of the caster and calculating the relational expression between the wear amount and the travel distance based on the obtained measurement value; calculating the future wear amount of the caster provided on a moving body based on the relational expression; and generating a maintenance plan for the moving body based on the calculated future wear amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】キャスターの走行距離が少ない試験結果に基づいて、長距離の走行におけるキャスターの将来的な摩耗量を予測する保全管理方法及び保全管理システムを提供する。【解決手段】載荷荷重と、キャスターの種類と、床面の種類を含む試験条件を変更して前記キャスターの走行試験を実施する工程と、前記キャスターの摩耗量を測定し、得られた測定値に基づいて前記摩耗量と走行距離との関係式を算出する工程と、前記関係式に基づいて、稼働する移動体に設けられた前記キャスターの将来的な摩耗量を算出する工程と、算出した前記将来的な摩耗量に基づいて、前記移動体の整備計画を生成する工程と、を備える保全管理方法である。【選択図】図1
