To enable a runway to be identified with good accuracy, even when using a peripheral monitoring sensor and map information to identify the runway of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a sensor acquisition unit 104 for acquiring sensing results from a peripheral monitoring sensor 14 that is used in a vehicle; a map acquisition unit 101 for acquiring map information; a runway identification unit 108 which is capable of identifying the runway of the vehicle, using both of the sensing results acquired by the sensor acquisition unit 104 and the map information acquired by the map acquisition unit 101; and a prescribed environment identification unit 107 for identifying a prescribed environment where, with the sensing results out of the sensing results and the map information, the accuracy of identifying a runway is estimated to decrease. The runway identification unit 108 switches to runway identification using only the map information out of the sensing results and the map information, on the basis of the fact that the prescribed environment is identified by the prescribed environment identification unit 107.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両の走路の特定に周辺監視センサと地図情報とを利用する場合であっても、より精度良く走路を特定することを可能にする。【解決手段】車両で用いられる周辺監視センサ14でのセンシング結果を取得するセンサ取得部104と、地図情報を取得する地図取得部101と、センサ取得部104で取得するセンシング結果と、地図取得部101で取得する地図情報とのいずれも用いて、自車の走路を特定することが可能な走路特定部108と、センシング結果及び地図情報のうちのセンシング結果では走路の特定精度が低下すると推定される所定環境を特定する所定環境特定部107とを備え、走路特定部108は、所定環境特定部107で所定環境を特定したことに基づいて、センシング結果及び地図情報のうちの地図情報のみを用いた走路の特定に切り替える。【選択図】図2
