To solve the conventional problems in that when a computing machine having the same function as an operation computing machine is provided as backup at the time of occurrence of abnormality, it is not in use except when the backup is operated and this results in an excessive facility.SOLUTION: As a passenger guiding system configured of a plurality of computing machines, each of the plurality of computing machines includes a monitoring unit and a plurality of common functions. A first priority is set to each of the plurality of computing machines and a second priority is set to each of the plurality of common functions. Each of the plurality of computing machines executes a function having the second priority corresponding to its own first priority and determines a function to be executed by the other computing machine by mutual state monitoring by the monitoring units between the computing machine and the other computing machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】異常時のバックアップとして、運用計算機と同一機能を有する計算機で構成すると、バックアップ動作時以外は不使用となり余剰設備となる。【解決手段】複数の計算機から構成される旅客案内システムとして、複数の計算機それぞれは監視部および共通する複数の機能を備え、複数の計算機それぞれには第1の優先順位および共通する複数の機能それぞれには第2の優先順位が設定され、複数の計算機それぞれは、自らの第1の優先順位に対応した第2の優先順位を有する機能を実行すると共に、監視部による他の計算機との相互の状態監視により当該他の計算機が実行する機能を判断する。【選択図】図1
