To provide a charging system and a charged vehicle capable of realizing further rapid charging.SOLUTION: A charging system 110 in a charged vehicle 100 comprises a first power conversion unit 6 having a rated output of 50 kW or less for converting AC supplied from the AC power supply 300 into DC, and a second power conversion unit 7 having a function to supply DC output from the first power conversion unit to a storage battery 8 and to generate DC power of more than 50 kW using DC output from the storage battery to supply to the electric vehicle via a contact (pantograph 1, plug 3, connector 5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
