To provide an offshore wind power generator which enables improvement of workability, and to provide a construction method of the offshore wind power generator.SOLUTION: An offshore wind power generator 100 includes: a windmill part 2 having a windmill which supplies power to a power generator in addition to the power generator; and a floating body part 1 supporting the windmill part 2. The floating body part 1 has: an outer member 11 having an outer cylinder part 116 formed in a cylindrical shape; and an inner member 12 at least partially housed in the outer cylinder part 116 and having an inner cylinder part 121 formed in a cylindrical shape. The floating body part 1 is configured so as to allow the inner member 12 to be moved relative to the outer member 11 by the inner cylinder part 121 sliding in the outer cylinder part 116 and to take a first attitude during transportation and take a second attitude, at which the floating body 1 is extended compared with the first attitude, at the time of completion of installation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
