The charging circuit 21 charges a power storage unit 20 in accordance with a determined charging current. The temperature detection unit 23 detects the temperature of the power storage unit 20. The control unit 3 controls the charging circuit 21. The control unit 3 includes a deterioration state detection unit 31 and a determination unit 32. The deterioration state detection unit 31 detects the deterioration state of the power storage unit 20. The determination unit 32 determines the charging current and a charging voltage on the basis of the detection result obtained by the deterioration state detection unit 31 and the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
