To provide a tension adjustment device capable of maintaining an optimal pressing force for a long time and preventing damaging when a sudden impact force is applied during driving.SOLUTION: The tension adjustment device comprises: a fixed frame; a handrail abutting part that abuts against a movable handrail; a movable part that protrudes and supports the handrail abutting part in a horizontal direction and is vertically movable with the fixed frame; a first biasing member that biases the movable part downward by a biasing force of a prescribed range; and a lock mechanism that has a locked part provided in the fixed frame and a locking part provided in the movable part and locks the locked part by the locking part to limit vertical motion of the movable part. The movable part has an oscillation shaft between the locking part and the handrail abutting part with the locking part oscillatable toward the fixed frame side and vertically movable with respect to the fixed frame. The gravity center of the movable part is positioned more separated from the fixed frame than the oscillation shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】最適な押圧力を長期間維持し続けることができ且つ駆動中に急激な衝撃力が作用したときには損傷を防止できる移動手すりの張力調整装置を提供する。【解決手段】張力調整装置は、固定枠と、移動手すりに当接する手すり当接部と、手すり当接部を水平方向に突設して支持すると共に固定枠に対して上下方向に移動可能な可動部と、可動部を下方に向けて所定の範囲の付勢力で付勢する第1付勢部材と、固定枠に設けた被係止部と可動部に設けた係止部とを有し、係止部が前記被係止部に係止することで可動部の上下動を制限するロック機構とを備えている。可動部は、係止部と手すり当接部との間に係止部が固定枠側に向けて揺動可能で且つ固定枠に対して上下動自在な揺動軸を有し、可動部の重心は、前記揺動軸よりも固定枠から離れた位置にある。【選択図】図4
