To provide an installation method of a floating-type underwater tower structure capable of safely and efficiently installing a floating-type underwater tower structure such as an offshore wind power generation device.SOLUTION: The present installation method of a floating-type underwater tower structure comprises: loading a floating-type underwater tower structure A laid horizontally onto an installation barge 1, the structure A accommodating a stabilizing weight material 13 in a float part; moving the installation barge 1 to an installation position; and then, submerging into water, the installation barge 1 to cause the floating-type underwater tower structure A to perform an erecting operation energized by a load derived from the stabilizing weight material 13, as well as to cause the installation barge 1 to move correspondingly to the erecting operation, thereby, causing the installation barge 1 to separate from the erected floating-type underwater tower structure A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
