To provide a walking support system that enables a signal to be appropriately recognized.SOLUTION: A correction angle which is an angle between a reference transverse direction which is a direction orthogonal to an extending direction of a white line of a crosswalk and an imaging direction of a camera 20 is calculated by a yawing angle calculation unit 85b on the basis of an image obtained by the camera 20, and a movement for making the correction angle small is commanded to a pedestrian by the vibration of a vibration generator 50. Thereby, it is possible to substantially match the imaging direction of the camera 20 with the reference transverse direction, and it is possible to cause a signal to exist in the angle of view of the camera 20 so that the signal can be appropriately recognized even in a situation that the signal does not exist in the angle of view of the camera 20 due to a fact that the correction angle is large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
