To efficiently improve the balance between the amount of power consumed for the drive of a marine solar panel and the amount of power generated by the marine solar panel.SOLUTION: A marine solar panel control device 100 according to the present invention comprises: a reference value acquisition unit 107B for acquiring, from the light reception result of a sunlight receiving device installed in a ship, a reference value that is an index to the generated amount of power of a solar panel installed in the ship; a generated amount of power acquisition unit 107C for acquiring a first generated amount of power in the current direction of the solar panel; a calculation unit 108 for calculating a second generated amount of power which is obtained on the basis of the reference value and the generated amount of power per unit solar radiation of the solar panel when the solar panel is driven in a direction in which the generation of power by the solar panel has efficiency equal to or greater than prescribed efficiency that is determined on the basis of the current location of the sun and the current direction of the solar panel; and a panel control unit 110 for controlling the direction of the solar panel on the basis of the first and second generated amounts of power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
