To inhibit deformation of a passenger compartment caused by an impact load applied from a vehicle anteroposterior direction in a vehicle body structure with no floor tunnel which expands upward largely from a floor panel.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure A of an electric vehicle includes: a floor panel 41 forming a floor of an occupant space R1; and a center frame 80 which is disposed spaced apart from the floor panel 41 in an upward direction at a center part as seen in a vehicle width direction of the occupant space R1 and extends in an anteroposterior direction. A battery unit Y is disposed below the floor panel 41 and has battery frames 16 to 19 extending in the anteroposterior direction. In a plan view, the battery frames 16 to 19 and the center frame 80 have a physical relationship in which these components overlap with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
