To suppress a foreign object which has entered the inside of a push button switch from adhering to a light-receiving element.SOLUTION: A light-emitting part 81 of a push button switch 1 emits detection light via an operation surface 111 to further front than the operation surface 111. A light-receiving part 82 detects reflection light of the detection light which is reflected on an operator, who has approached the operation surface 111, and is then transmitted through the operation surface 111. A light-receiving element 821 of the light-receiving part 82 is fitted to a surface on a depth side in a pushing direction of a circuit board 131. A light-receiving-side light-guide element 822 guides the reflection light to the light-receiving element 821 after changing a path of the reflection light. This can suppress a foreign object which has entered the inside of the push button switch 1 from adhering to the light-receiving element 821.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】押しボタンスイッチの内部に侵入した異物が受光素子に付着することを抑制する。【解決手段】押しボタンスイッチ1の投光部81は、操作面111を介して操作面111よりも手前側に向けて検出光を出射する。受光部82は、操作面111に近接した操作者にて反射して操作面111を透過した検出光の反射光を検出する。受光部82の受光素子821は、回路基板131の押込方向の奥側の面に取り付けられる。受光側導光素子822は、上記反射光の光路を変更して受光素子821へと導く。これにより、押しボタンスイッチ1の内部に侵入した異物が受光素子821に付着することを抑制することができる。【選択図】図3
