To prevent occurrence of a jackknife phenomenon that may be caused in automatic brake control by collision avoidance support control in a situation where a vehicle tows a trailer.SOLUTION: A vehicular collision avoidance support device includes: an obstacle detecting device that detects an obstacle in front of a vehicle; and a control device configured to perform automatic brake control by which braking force is automatically applied to the vehicle in the case that the obstacle is detected by the obstacle detecting device detects and that the control device determines that the vehicle may collide with the obstacle. In the case that the vehicle is not towing a trailer and that the control device determines that a turning index value indicating a degree of turning of the vehicle is above a first reference value, the control device prohibits the automatic brake control (S300). In the case that the vehicle is towing the trailer and that the control device determines that the turning index value is equal to or above a second reference value which is smaller than the first reference value, the control device prohibits the automatic brake control (S270).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
