To appropriately secure visibility of a driver in consideration of acceleration of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A visibility control device 100 of a vehicle 1 enables a variable light shielding part 30 provided at a lower part of a window shield 3 to expand or contract in a vertically direction on the basis of a vehicle speed. The visibility control device 100 comprises a control part 110 that makes the variable light shielding part 30 expand upward in the vertical direction as the vehicle speed becomes faster, and an acceleration calculating part 113 that detects acceleration of the vehicle 1. The control part 110, when acceleration of the vehicle 1 exceeds a reference value, suppresses the expanding speed of the variable light shielding part 30 on the basis of magnitude of the acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】車両の加速度を考慮してドライバの視界を適切に確保する。【解決手段】ウインドシールド3の下部に設けられる可変遮光部30を、車速に基づいて上下方向に拡大または縮小させることが可能な車両1の視界制御装置100である。視界制御装置100は、車速が速くなるのに応じて、可変遮光部30を上下方向の上側に拡大させる制御部110と、車両1の加速度を検出する加速度算出部113とを備える。制御部110は、車両1の加速度が基準値を超えた場合には、その加速度の大きさに基づいて、可変遮光部30の拡大速度を抑制する。【選択図】図4
