To provide a pad for a suspended object that can be easily made, is inexpensive and safe and a suspending method for a to-be-suspended object.SOLUTION: A pad for a suspended object that, when a to-be-suspended object is suspended with a suspending rope, is disposed between the suspending rope and a contact portion of a magnetic body where the suspended object and the suspending rope are in contact with each other, includes: a layer portion where multiple corrugated fiber boards are layered; an individual portion having a packaging portion, which is a corrugated cardboard wrapped around the layer portion; and a magnetic plate portion joined to a surface orthogonal to a layering direction of the corrugated fiber boards, of the packaging portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
