To provide a tank holding structure which can prevent a cushioning material from getting out of an engagement hole in a frame member.SOLUTION: A tank holding structure 1 comprises: a frame member 10 which has a recess which supports a cylindrical tank 2 and of which side walls 12, 13 are provided with engagement holes 16, 17; a tank band 20 which is so located as to face the frame member 10, and is so formed as to be capable of pressing the tank 2 to the frame member 10 side; an energization member 30 which applies a pressing force to the tank 2 to the tank band 20; and a cushioning material 40 which is located between the tank 2 and the frame member 10, and are engaged with the engagement holes 16, 17.A lubricating member 50 is interposed between the tank 2 and the cushioning material 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
