To provide a planetary roller screw-type linear motion mechanism which facilitates automation of work for assembling a roller shaft of a planetary roller onto a carrier.SOLUTION: A width dimension of a second long hole 32 is greater than a width dimension of a first long hole 31. A first whirl-stop shaped part 46 and a first partial cylinder face 47 are formed on an external periphery of a first end part 16 of a roller shaft 15. The roller shaft 15 is whirl-stopped from revolving by the engagement of the first whirl-stop shaped part 46 and a longitudinal face 45 of the first long hole 31. A second whirl-stop shaped part 49 and a second partial cylinder face 50 are formed on an external periphery of a second end part 17 of the roller shaft 15, and only the second partial cylinder face 50 makes contacts with and supported on a longitudinal face 48 of the second long hole 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
