To provide a vehicle automatic retreat system which causes vehicles stored in a vehicle base to retreat automatically, in the case that a disaster has occurred or a disaster is predicted to occur.SOLUTION: A vehicle automatic retreat system includes: a disaster detection section 10 for monitoring a vehicle base and a prescribed range in the periphery of the vehicle base; vehicles 30 provided with automatic train operation devices 31; and a centralized train control device 20 which acquires monitoring results from the disaster detection section 10, and causes the vehicles 30 to retreat according to remote control, on the basis of a vehicle retreat plan for causing the vehicles 30 to retreat, in the case that a disaster has occurred or a disaster is predicted to occur.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
