To provide a vehicle frame structure and a manufacturing method of a vehicle frame which can prevent a large gap between assembled components from being formed, as well as, the assembled components from interfering with each other, and also increase the outer shape accuracy of the assembled components.SOLUTION: A frame structure 1 of a rear part of a vehicle 10 is assembled by connecting an overlapped portion of a plate-like part 20 of a first metal body 2 and a second metal body 3 through driving a self-piercing rivet 4 from the plate-like part 20 side. A surface on the driving start side of the self-piercing rivet 4 in the plate-like part 20, of the overlapped portion with the second metal body 3 of the plate-like part 20, is provided with an annular standing wall part 2b that extends to a side opposite to the second metal body 3 and annularly extends around a driving part 2d of the self-piercing rivet 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】組み立てた部品間に大きな隙間が形成されるのを防いだり、或いは、組み立てる部品同士が干渉するのを防ぐとともに、組立品の外形精度を高くすることができる車両用フレーム構造及び車両用フレームの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両10後部のフレーム構造1は、第1金属体2の板状部20と第2金属体3との重合部分を板状部20側からセルフピアスリベット4を打ち込むことにより繋いで組み立てられる。板状部20の第2金属体3との重合部分で、且つ、板状部20におけるセルフピアスリベット4の打込開始側の面には、第2金属体3とは反対側に延出するとともに、セルフピアスリベット4の打込部2d周りに環状に延びる環状立壁部2bが設けられる。【選択図】図2
